on the banks of the jordan river canal, you'll find one of our favorite salt lake places- the international peace gardens. the 11 acre garden was created by the salt lake council of women all the way back in 1939! 28 countries are represented in the gardens, along with monuments celebrating a variety of international symbols of peace. we always like to visit the gardens on sundays to spend some time meditating and relaxing.
in the attitude of silence the soul finds the path in a clearer light, and what is elusive and deceptive resolves itself into crystal clearness. our life is a long and arduous quest after truth.
